What is the Giving Soap?

#TheGivingSoap is a salute to healthcare workers and individuals in most need of treatment and care this holiday season, join us in actively giving back and make an impact both socially and environmentally through gifting our Syrian soaps. The Medicine for the Body + Soul campaign, in collaboration with the Syrian American Medical Society - SAMS, is a gesture to honor to Syrian culture, community, craftsmanship and provide medicine for Syrians in need this winter.

Syrian American Medical Society

Founded in 1998, The Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS) is a US-based organization providing services and opportunities to medical professionals of Syrian descent. SAMS Foundation, the charitable arm of the organization, was later launched in 2007.

Since its inception, SAMS has become a leading medical relief organization  dedicated to life-saving treatment on the front lines of crisis relief in Syria, including mobile clinics dispatched daily to some of the hardest hit areas of Northeast Syria to reach internally displaced people who have no access to healthcare. Their humanitarian relief and medical programmes span across the region including in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. They have recently expanded operations to Egypt and Bangladesh to support vulnerable communities. 

Medicine for the Body + Soul

The holiday season we have partnered with SAMS to launch the holiday campaign, Medicine for the Body and Soul. Starting November 27, 2020, and for the entire month of December, we will donating 30% of all online sales to SAMS to help procure medications and provide care to vulnerable individuals in northwest Syria.
