Our Kassab Bay Leaf is our most mild Aleppo Soap Bar, a fresh and clean scent for both men and women.

Soap factories in Syria are mainly based in Aleppo, but due to the conflict, many have moved to Turkey. We proudly import our soaps directly from Aleppo, but it is Kassab, a mostly Armenian populated town northwest of Syria, where the best laurel oil is produced.

Villagers gather the laurel berry from the trees, and manually extract the oil using traditional, multi-staged methods. Each year the soap is manufactured from November to March after the olives and laurel berry have been collected and turned into oil.  With its dry climate and encirclement of wooded green mountains and deep valleys, Kassab is renowned for its beautiful scenic views, rich agriculture, laurel oil and apples.
